Take Off & Bill of Quantities

A bill of quantities (sometimes referred to as BoQ) is a document prepared by a Quantity Surveyor and provides measured quantities of each item detailed in the drawings and specifications.

We will accurately measure each item required and produce a quantified builders bill of quantities for the client to enter their own rates into. This Excel document can be tailored to each client's individual requirements.

We can also prepare the bill of quantities on behalf of Property Developers, Homeowners and Architects, so it can be issued to tenderers for them to prepare a price for carrying out the works.  The bill of quantities assists tenderers in the calculation of the costs and ensures that all tendering contractors will be pricing like for like (i.e the same quantities) which provides a fair and accurate tendering system.
